Moss is the second news reporter in a week to be fired after revealing on air that they would be speaking to Project Veritas about their news networks. Moss, who has been with the network for a decade, called it a human rights issue and said 'segregating someone is completely inhumane'. Moss claimed that her unvaccinated status was being made clear to employees and viewers because she was broadcasting from her home instead of the studio. She also accused CBS of pressuring unvaccinated employees into getting the vaccine and that the company was 'segregating coworkers' based on vaccine. 
The mother-of-four claimed CBS was discriminating against employees who had questioned COVID protocols, including mask wearing.
